* Fact about Norwegian Fjords - Fjord horses average 14 hands and pound for pound, eat half as much as any other horse breed. They typically do not need shoes, can pull 3x their weight and can carry a grown adult. Fjord have an easy going draft horse temperament and make the best family horse we've ever seen. Once you have met a fjord, you will be amazed at their gentle, loving nature and unique appearance.
